Project overview
Completed in 2019, this private residence in Jalandhar, Punjab was designed by Ar. Thakur Udayveer Singh of Space Race Architects. Lumani Systems worked on the aluminium fenestration package, coordinating different window, sliding and door applications with the architectural requirements of the home.
The project uses AS 39 SC.NI, AWS 50.NI and ADS 50.NI systems, creating a comprehensive combination of aluminium sliding, window and door solutions. Each system was selected according to the function and configuration of the respective opening rather than applying a single solution throughout the residence.
A key consideration was maintaining the architectural clarity of the elevations while accommodating multiple fenestration types. Frame positioning, glazing interfaces and installation detailing were coordinated to ensure that the aluminium elements remained visually integrated with the surrounding structure and finishes.
With its combination of premium aluminium windows, doors and sliding systems, this Jalandhar residence demonstrates a coordinated approach to residential fenestration—where system planning and execution support the architect’s original design while creating practical, well-resolved openings for everyday living.
